The Kranzberg Arts Foundation is taking the longtime Grand Center Arts District to new heights, literally expanding space and support for artists. Horizon 2016, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, announced plans to build a $1.5 billion, government-sponsored facility in St. Louis. After the groundbreaking ceremony at the end of November, this new facility will help to bring St. Louis to the forefront of geosciences with partners such as Saint Louis University and T-REX. The new project is the result of a partnership between the Krantzburg Foundation and the US government.
